Technica CEO Lisa Ann Pinkerton Named Female Entrepreneur of the Year by Women in Business and the Professions World Awards®

Technica announced today that Women World Awards named Founder and CEO Lisa Ann Pinkerton a Gold winner in the 13th Annual 2020 Women in Business and the Professions World Awards® for Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Advertising, Marketing, & Public Relations.

The coveted annual Women World Awards program encompasses the world’s best in leadership, innovation, organizational performance, new products and services, and milestones from every primary industry in the world. Organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations, including public and private, for-profit and nonprofit, largest to smallest and new start-ups. 

Judges from a broad spectrum of industry voices worldwide participated, and their average scores determined the 2020 award winners. Winners will be celebrated and presented their awards during a virtual awards ceremony in December.

Lisa Ann Pinkerton is the Founder and CEO of Technica Communications and is a dedicated leader who truly cares about her employees and the causes close to her heart. Her passions include technology revolutions in clean energy, transportation, buildings, and sustainability and inspiring women to lead. She is the Founder and Chairwoman of Women in Cleantech & Sustainability (WCS) and Co-Founder of the Global Cleantech Cluster Association. She is a frequent speaker on the International stage, most recently in Amsterdam, on how to take action to stop climate change for the Global Climate LaunchPad conference. She recently received an American Business Award for PR Executive of the Year and was also a Woman of Influence in the Silicon Valley Business Journal in 2017. As an award-winning, environmental-science broadcast journalist, her work aired on NPR, PBS Television, NBC, and more between 2000-2008.
